They basically used runes in a newsletter for a promotion of a game that "rendered unfavorably on some devices". Whether it's a QA error or if it was intentional with "plausible deniability" was debated everywhere a few weeks ago.

And not only that, but they said "Hey, Germans will probably he sensitive to these so we'll ship these to everyone but them".
It's probably not about sensitivity(people outside of Germany are actually more sensitive to that for obvious reasons) but because it's illegal in Germany.
Sure, but the issue remains the same; they absolutely knew what those symbols would be interpreted as, and still went aged with it.
The illegality is the sensitivity.
German team flagged it, but did not communicate it in time to the other teams.
The game being advertised talks about how Nazis adopted ancient symbols that previously had nothing to do with Nazis. A problem to have the double lightning bolts there but it's a bit of a stretch to say it's some kind of "tee hee we're actually Nazis" dog whistle bs.

Not at all, you were the one who said you had a source. So I wanted your source. I've read the ones other people posted. But you are the one antagonizing, because you started this whole source discussion, yet you seem to be the only one who isn't providing one.
