Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.

A student pilot successfully landed a plane by herself after her instructor jumped to his death mid-flight.

She said her instructor told her "You know what to do" before leaping from the aircraft.

The article shows a picture of the instructor next to an image of a small single engine cessna.

Comment reads: You could literally land a plane by yourself after your instructor jumps to his death mid-flight and they'd still use a picture of a man.

It is, but I'm not sure that this is the best example of the new parts. Newspapers were running photos of people long before you or I were born, and drawings as early as 1806. Even absent a profit-driven late capitalist hellscape, a lot of people feel validated by attention.
