Anyone with a functioning fucking brain knew that would be the outcome!

He didn't have a leg to stand on and started a war for NO FUCKING REASON.

For a brief moment, it appeared that this promise might be realised. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the US and Iran on June 17 seemed to offer a pathway away from escalating confrontation. Markets stabilised, regional tensions eased and there was cautious optimism that Washington and Tehran had stepped back from the brink.

Shut the fuck up. Just SHUT THE FUCK UP. He tore up the original peace deal Obama made. He started this war for no fucking reason at all other than to distract from Epstein. Stop acting like anything they fucking do is in good faith!

Journalism is fucking DEAD

I'm not shitting you when I say, I saw multiple people who claim to be on the left, say shit like "well, the genocide in Palestine didn't start under Trump, it started under Biden!" or "but when Trump was president, he really didn't start any new wars" in 2024 leading up to the election.

Even to this day, these dipshits still brag about not voting for the only viable candidate that could have defeated Trump as the "anti-genocide/anti-war" option. Even tho Trump's first presidency was extremely pro-war and pro-genocide, yet he had more guard rails back then.

All that to say, this was predictable since his first term. Never underestimate the stupidity of the average American.

But Genocide Joe was a lot catchier than Genocide Donald, so can you really blame them? /s

Anyway, saying this genocide started under the Biden administration is ridiculous. This shit has been going on for decades.

Well at least now you have "Diarrhea Donny" nice and catchy; small victories I know, but smile when you can.

There are still significant differences in degree. Sometimes quantity has a quality of its own, as the man said. Binary thinking is destructive.

Hell, there was at least one dumb fuck on here when he started bombing Iran saying Kamala would have done the same thing.

I mean, I voted for Kamala, but I personally was furious at Biden because it was fucking clear as day that Netanyahu was pushing the violence to make Biden look bad for the election and get idiot leftists to do that. Biden walked right the fuck into it, he let Netanyahu manipulate him. So not only was Biden tacitly allowing a genocide to happen on his watch, he also was letting it happen knowing full well that it was happening to help Trump get elected.

That's the part that pisses me off the most, he let the manipulation happen. (I mean the genocide pisses me off the most but Biden really didn't have a ton of stellar options, but he COULD have addressed the nation to make clear that Bibi was a Trump toadie.)

Like not sending weapons to Israel to commit genocide?

[–] impairedimperator@lemmy.zip 2 points 6 days ago

He really couldn't, though. That would have just become Russia hoax 2.0 now featuring Israel, while 80% of the daily news would be shitty AI mockups of Biden with a hitler stashe doing an elon musk.
