Therians, also known as therianthropes, are individuals who identify as one or more nonhuman animals, partially or entirely, on a personal level, which they call their theriotypes.[2][3][4][5] Therians are often considered a subset of otherkin.[6][7] The enduring experience of identifying as a nonhuman animal, as well as the broader lived experience of therians, is commonly referred to as therianthropy.[8][9]

I am technically a therian, but only insofar as having animal-like qualities in the mental image of myself.
