Just got the urge to play a bit of payday 2, what do I see? Diesel 3.0 open_beta. Yeah, maybe there'll be a good game to play again this summer.

The greatest failure Starbreeze did with PD3 was using unreal engine. While I don't think that diesel is a perfect engine, having a bespoke engine automatically makes you unique and distinct. Minecraft, Terraria, Valve's catalog.

Unreal Engine is a real cancer on this industry. Unbelievably bullshit but insanely high adoption anyways.
