Having issues commenting on this particular topic https://lemmy.world/post/13572

When I hit the submit button, it just spins. I first tried a couple hours ago, and a few times since then. I can post in other threads in that community and elsewhere.

Using IceRaven/Firefox on Android.

Also I noticed that the cross post link is https://lemmy.anji.nl/post/9254 and that's the instance from where the poster is. Could there be some interoperability issue? (That instance doesn't seem to have any public content that I can see.)

Speaking of which, how does it work exactly when people make topics and comments on different instances... What happens when one of them goes down, gets unfederated etc.?

I had the same problem with the topic you linked. Apparently it lets you post if you select a language? Dunno if that's a setting or a bug, but either way it really needs to give some sort of feedback.
