massively hyped up durians to my folks for their trip but they don't know about the smell. should I tell them or surprise them? (lemmy.ml)

If they're going to Singapore, do tell them because bringing durian on public transport can get you in trouble. I think it's just a fine and not a caning but still.

I still find the signs funny: don't bring toxic waste, flammable liquids, explosives ... or durians.

Not singapore but I am very serious about not allowing them to disgrace themselves in any way abroad. Too used to visiting hitler countries. Could be bad. Im nervous
