Star Trek Picard S2. S1 was rough but they managed to dig deeper. Casting and acting were alright; the story less so. Suffered from production during the plague, to be fair.

If you are something like 4chan or a descendant of that type of website, the answer is as easy as that. If you are Xwitter or Facebook it is not. You're too big. You may have opened an office in the country, either because it was a legal requirement to continue operating in the country or because you collect money through it. So throwing your hands up and saying eff you we just don't serve your country any more comes with a cost. Your ad money now needs to be paid abroad, which comes with the danger of increasing the cost for advertisers who now need to pay in dollars rather than pounds. And the representative in the local office, which you may want to close now, may find themselves in court for all the infractions that occurred before you threw your hands up (something that happened in Brazil IIRC). Also, you want the people who make the laws continue to use your platform to give it relevance. A Melon Usk Xwitter hissy fit may finally drive the rest of the politicians away. Loss of relevance will translate to loss of money.

The internet is multilaterally interdependent and scale matters.

If they're going to Singapore, do tell them because bringing durian on public transport can get you in trouble. I think it's just a fine and not a caning but still.

Male homosexual sex bad, according to OT god. Most Christians don't think it warrants the death penalty today any more. Although some surely still do. And homosexuality is seen differently in different denominations of Christianity, ranging from just fine to tolerated to fire and brimstone.

Have you ever met anyone who got annoyed at you for asking slightly different versions of the same question?

Would people like a "X posts per Y" rate limit per user for this community?

No, people would not. It could be a tool for moderators to curb spamming but I don't see that being more effective than existing moderation tools.

Why do you want to improve your songwriting?

If your motivation is commercial success, look at past successes. There is no shortage of song breakdowns on YouTube. Improve your theory knowledge if you're lacking in that department. Cooperate with other producers/musicians if you can. I fear there will not be much space for commercial success in this field in the foreseeable future thanks to two dreadful letters though.

If you are more of a hobbyist (and I would count myself among those), I just do the Carnegie Hall approach of practice, practice, practice. Trial and error. I can tell my music and production have much improved from when I started dabbling in this a decade ago. But I also still don't think it's good enough to release it.

We like to think in easily separate-able categories, black and white stuff (absolutely no pun on race in this case). We are also able to hold opposing viewpoints in our heads at the same time. And we are all susceptible to political messaging. It's like advertising; it wears people down.

So you can be a true believer of whatever Christian church and support a man in the White House who couldn't be much more from your professed ideals if he tried. You can also think abortion is murder and support killing children in Iran. You can believe in civil rights and still want no Arab looking neighbors. We are full of contradictions.

The US suffers also from only having one more mainline party than North Korea or the PRC. If you look at other countries that are democracies, you'll find half a dozen parties vying for power. It offers more tents to assemble under, whereas in the US most people end up under one of two and arrange themselves with the inconsistencies between their own values and those of the party consensus more easily than in France, just as one example, where Macron launched his own new party before he became president. (Just for balance: 2+ party democracies can also still be shit at the end of the day but they offer more choices.)

Straight pride.

... and then you have to go back and do it again. Mildly infuriating a-hole design on the LINE messaging app (popular in Japan).

To the berry, Kates!

About three weeks ago they have embarked on major changes to the mobile app that have made different parts of it useless. Their forum is full of frustrated users and all they get is "we will fix this soon." As I said, it's been 3 weeks. Currently, the mixer is broken so nothing can be finished ...

I am making music as a hobby to put in family videos and stuff like that. It's instrumental. I don't want to use bullshAIt. What are good alternatives to this no longer good app from Image Line?

I don't have the foggiest idea where I could've gotten the idea from.
