- Comics should be a full story, from start to finish, in one post.
- Posts should be safe and enjoyable by the majority of community members, both here on lemmy.world and other instances.
- Any comic that would qualify as raunchy, lewd, or otherwise draw unwanted attention by nosy coworkers, spouses, or family members should be tagged as NSFW.
- Moderators have final say on what and what does not qualify as appropriate. Use common sense, and if need be, err on the side of caution.

- Comics should be made and posted by real human beans, not by automated means like bots or AI. This is not the community for that sort of thing.

π½οΈ Credit Where Credit is Due
- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!

- Post an image, gallery, or link to a specific comic hosted on another site; e.g., the author's website.
- Meta posts about the community should be tagged with [Meta] either at the beginning or the end of the post title.
- When linking to a comic hosted on another site, ensure the link is to the comic itself and not just to the website; e.g.,

- Each user (regardless of instance) may post up to five (5 π) comics a day. This can be any combination of personal comics you have written yourself, or other author's comics. Any comics exceeding five (5 π) will be removed.

Living good and ethically sound is a best-effort kind of thing these days
Always has been.
Yeah it requires so much killing. Like I think even totally unopposed and switching hands my trigger finger would fall the fuck off if I really tried.
But what were we supposed to do? Put all the means of production in the hands of someone who wasn't in the global transnational cabal of deeply chinese-room-ass genocidal Nazi pedophiles who compulsively restructure society to build the torment nexus they heard of most recently? Not delegate all our decision making and general coordination of society and its norms to a bunch of incredibly venal unaccountable pedophiles who won a popularity contest and will sell your soul and pave Yellowstone for a four figure bribe because we're too fucking lazy to take an interest in the world after a long day of refusing to object to our own exploitation?
That's fucking unreasonable. All there is to do is embrace The Horrors and learn to love the taste of the rare earth conflict minerals they started adding to doritos premium. So worth the cancer.
If you have some solution that doesn't involve time travel, the world is all ears. As always, the only options available are to do as much as you can where you can, and realize you're up against a tide of people who aren't going to put in that kind of effort.
If you really think the the situation is that dire and that the solution is so obvious and easy that it justifies the kind of snark you're displaying, it reflects more on you than anyone else that you're here shitposting instead of taking the direct action you think is so critical and obvious. If you've got the answer, go and prove it.
