Unlikely in my opinion to become valuable. People actually tried scalping them initially, but they just keep pressing more. I mean, there's always the possibility that you're pressing happens to be superior for some reason and highly wanted, but I think the odds are against you.
My suspicion is they're going to keep pressing the first two albums as long as people are still buying them. Given the hype train that they're on it's a free money printer.
Copies of their debut shot up to over 1k between the KEXP video and the release of album 2.
I'm looking at dozens of eBay sold listings RN and there is zero action in that sort of pricing.
I’m not disputing your point, sorry. I meant to highlight the rampant speculation in the market almost right away, before 2 came out. It has died down since then as more supply has become readily available. Someone made money off the early days though.
