That... Sugar glass is not that hard to make. It's sound different tho
You may be 100% correct, but I'm not going to be the guy going, "Erm, actually..." after seeing that at 3 o'clock in the morning.
Would it be effective as a functional bulb?
Probably not as an incandescent bulb, I suspect it would melt somewhere, but you could probably put an LED in there
