I was bored during his nap and he's OBSESSED with planes, so I figured I'd be productive.

I'm unhappy with the forward fuselage, but other than that it honestly looks pretty good from most angles. I have a strange love of working with cardboard, it's tons of fun as a structural material for cat trees and stuff like that

Have you seen those little cardboard jig saws that are safe for kids? They're like a little table saw set up but instead of spinning the 'blade' moves up and down.

If you guys make a lot of stuff like this together, you should consider one. They look fun.

I just checked and they are pricey - maybe you can find a knock off or a second hand one.

Those usually use a nibbler attachment on a drill which will have s little guard over it so it doesn't nibble you. No blades to say, more like a tiny shear.

They're meant for thin sheet metal so they're pretty strong and not completely devoid of danger, but you can add guards and make it so.

They're pretty cool for the kiddos and crafting!

Here's a super over complicated version to understand the concept.

Or can just like get one of these and a drill with a zip tie. Poke thst through a nice solid topped box and cut away.

this thing

Have fun!

Oh is that what they are? I did HVAC for a few months when the enviro field was slow. Saw them and thought they were the damnedest things.

I've never heard of that, have to keep an eye out, thanks!
