When Trump first ran for office in the 2016 election I thought he was a joke too. Because I remembered people laughing at him as a joke candidate when he ran in 2000.

What happened in between 2000 and 2016 that made him not a joke anymore? The Apprentice. He became a reality TV star and that made him a serious political contender because this is a fucking joke of a country 😂
