Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I've checked out Alternative Nation. Seems like a nice community but again, although I've got some Shoegaze / Doomgaze stuff to add, I worry about pushing the boundaries a bit there. Feels like people in that community might be expecting mostly indie rock and not punk or screamy metal songs.
Might even just be doing this for myself to get over my weirdness about never feeling like I fit anywhere lol. Although it would be nice if people joined. Think I might get the ball rolling tomorrow, it either flops or provides people a space they were looking for. Can't hurt to try.
Oh I absolutely miss this too. You could practically find a community around just about any random thing you could think of. And Lemmy is just too small for that. Kind of another reason I think some things could stand to be combined around here. So that the metal community and punk community can combine their total of 4 active commenters lol.
Personally, I started throwing songs into the !music@lemmy.world community simply because it was most active. I post a lot of punk and indie type music. Figured if there were more people into it, eventually a more niche community could form. Until then, I'll keep signaling to my fellow punk enthusiasts like a lonely lighthouse haha
Haha I was using !eternalplaylist@crazypeople.online in pretty much the same way. But always feel bad posting heavy stuff there because that's just not the general vibe of that community. And they're really cool about it too, which makes me want to respect that space even more.
