MODERATORS
Looked back at the Thai alphabet some, after not for a while. Starting to recognize a lot of the consonants, sorta. Pronouncing anything is tough tho.
Got lax in my Kanji Kohii habit, so I'm trying to dig back up through those flashcards. Reviews build up fast when you skip even a day or two.
Found some Doraemon manga at a larger used book store near me. They were like 2 bucks a piece, so I didn't think much before grabbing them. But on closer inspection when I brought them home, these won't help me learn Japanese, lol.
Oops, now you'll need to learn a completely different language...
Yep! I've already invested almost 10 bucks, so now I have no choice but to spend the next decade learning it.
Really, I have considered trying to learn Chinese. After learning Japanese, the characters wouldn't be too intimidating, and it is one of the world's most widely spoken languages. But it's also just... a lot. Don't think I'm up for another language of that difficulty, long term.
