Two things can be true at once: NK might be very bad in a lot of aspects, but the US has many similarly problematic allies. The main reason NK is widely sanctioned is that they’re not part of the capitalist sphere of influence, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other (far more valid) reasons to sanction them.

Your "reputed historians" quotes predate the Soviet archives opening, so the stuff that actually confirmed the targeted grain quotas, the border seals around Ukraine/Kuban, and the blacklisted villages. Even the historians who reject the word "genocide" don't claim it was just weather and kulaks, so you're to the right of your own sources.

Neither did I say it was only the weather or kulaks, soviet leadership did mistakes, quite big mistakes infact, does that mean it was intentional genocide? nothing concludes that.
I dont even watch badempanada regularly but this video is pretty good at analyzing holodmor, you could give it a try because badempanda rather than forcing in his own opinion cites direct sources and critically analyzes them.
