Do you have any experiences/learnings you want to share?

Depression can have many causes and as a parent, I believe it is important to be available for your kids. Mentally, physically, but also emotionally. Take them the way they are and show support. Lead by example. Teach them how the world works, let them be part of your thought processes and make decisions together. But besides that, what else can I do?

I wish I had tips and tricks. Nothing replaces being there in your kids' lives, but of course, that's not really actionable more than holistic.

I feel bad because our kids are going to inherit an exceptional shit sandwich and the only way for the species to make it is if a lot of them see past the culture wars and hate and focus on unifying against a worldwide threat as ecosystems collapse and we all choke on the effluence the vroom-vroom crowd insist we accommodate. I love giving them good news, but also want them to be aware

Jimmy Carr, whether you like him as comedian or not, is a tremendously wise person who regularly amazes me by his wisdom. This is a video where he basically addressed the current issue. And it gave me hope.
