I've seen some amazing pieces on Pinterest years ago that was felted with silky ribbon bits. I just love the colours that you can get now with wool tops and all the lovely silky fibres to mix in, so much more variety than years ago, and potential
No problem. Felting with silk (or other fibres) is called nuno felting, if you want to get into that. I like to mix it up with cheesecloth and burlap for added textures, too. Loads of possibilities.
That's the word I was trying to remember!
