My solution is to use AntiMicroX to map my controller buttons to keyboard buttons, then SSF2 can map those keyboard buttons to game controls. This works for my DS4 and my Logitech F310, but not for my GameCube. I think that one is a driver issue.

Also, it's cool to see other people still playing this game.

just want to understand how to save profile cause it look like it wont save to any normal profile and yes @IndigoGolem it still packed they even added king dedede just that online sucks and hard to find players also sorry for your gamecube and finally which controller for which game

That is several questions.

Near the top of the AntiMicroX window are buttons to save and load profiles. Once you set up controller input to keyboard input, save that profile in a folder somewhere you can find it later. It should automatically load the last profile you used for a given controller.

The GameCube controller doesn't work for any games i've tried it in. Again, probably a drivers issue. But maybe it would work if i tried it in something like Dolphin emulator.

I used to use DS4 for everything when that was my only controller. When i got Hollow Knight it was buggy, only accepting some inputs, so i got the Logitech and now i use that for all my Linux games that i don't play with a keyboard. Right now that's mostly Hollow Knight, Final Fantasy VII, and SSF2. The GameCube controller is mostly used for Smash Ultimate, and occasionally other Switch games that support it or don't put anything super important on buttons it doesn't have like L3.

that cool as well hopfully the gamecube cotroller support comes next year and maybe ds4rv can be better cause it's impossibe to use also if you see me in ssf2 the name would be dimmy but it's a bit laggy
