yt-dlp won't download Youtube Music liked video's playlist (fedinsfw.app)

when I type in yt-dlp -x --audio-format mp3 -f bestaudio -o "%(playlist)s/%(playlist_index)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s" "YOUR_PLAYLIST_URL" I get an error message saying youtube music not supported and then it switches over to Youtube to get the playlist I give access to my cookies so it can download e playlist but then I get error messages while it tries to download the playlist and nothing gets downloaded.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: it's youtube music that's the problem. I can download from youtube proper, but the problem is that songs that have a music video are substituted instead of the song file itself.

EDIT: I think I will just transfer my liked playlist to another playlist and download that.

Ya I've seen a suspicious lapse in archivals on my system, figured something was up but usually only need to wait a week or two
