MODERATORS
500ml is the standard in Europe. This looks like a bigger version 550 or a pint. Held by a small hand.
That explains it. Here in the US there are a few standard sizes. I'm currently drinking a small 355ml, the usual size is 473ml, and the much less common big size is 710ml
