Finest font size your inkjet could muster, small piece of paper glued on with Elmer's glue onto your fancy pencil with decals on it.
Too obvious. That's black on white. Like every print. A teacher would spot that from the other end of the classroom. And decals? That just limits Your usable space. How much text can You fit that way? And how many "fancy pencils" did You have? Fancy things don't come a dime a dozen.
I had a bunch of them, pencils with patterns of all sorts. The thing was using a pencil that was white on the outside with some noise and then the glue would give it laminated effect which makes it hard to spot that there's anything on it from afar.
