Are weight-loss drugs technically weapons of mass destruction?

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted clever little truths, hidden in daily life.
Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts:
If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.
Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report, the message goes away and you never worry about it.
Nuclear bombs do a pretty good job of destroying mass.
That's mass distribution, possibly state alterations.
I can't believe the people replying to me...
Einstein is famous for E= mc^2 . That's literally the equation that describes how much energy you get from destroying mass. It's the core of why nuclear power produces so much energy. A tiny tiny amount of mass is converted directly to energy. Mass gone. Energy here.
Fwiw, I was just just trying to be funny, and I think many, myself included, are thinking about the results of setting off such a bomb and the effect it would have on the surrounding mass.
I probably should've switched my two replies then. This one is funnier

No they don't
Am I a joke to you?
They literally function by converting mass into energy (thereby destroying the mass). What is that if not mass destruction?
