It is an community about album covers so the music itself isn't necessarly good music

This community is all about sharing, discovering, and appreciating album covers, music-related artwork, and the creative design that brings sound to life through imagery. Very Loose Rules:
- Keep it music-related – Posts should feature album art, cover art, or artwork directly tied to a musical release (EPs, singles, mixtapes, etc. count too!).

I reckon it's akin to any band that shifts their style for a given reason. Metallica is an okay example. After AJFA, they changed. A lot tbh. But even AJFA was a big shift from their first three. So it makes sense that someone deep into thrash and what thrash is about would be less into the band's later stuff. And I don't think that's missing a point. It's just being into something specific rather than excluding something else.
