We can be very specific in contexts that are irrelevant to the US and it wouldn't change anything. I just decided that I am talking about Eritrea. Also, while it increasingly looks like certain political thought is going to be prosecuted in the US, making the spread of it revolutionary, it is currently not. It's not the situation of 100 years ago. Getting back there, I give you that, but not there yet.

And the whole discussion is about what accounts for revolutionary acts. I love that you work in communities working on improving life, but if they don't advocate for a revolution, they are not revolutionary. That's not an insult at all.

Woof.

Hey look this isn't meant to be insulting.

Go out and meet some people and do some organizing. Just go talk to people. You're going to go in front of a fascist judge sending you to a concentration camp in El Salvador and your defense is "I was talking about Eritrea"? Good luck with that. No one doing work is going to accept that from you either lol.

I mean, I am not from the US, so I don't care either way and it remains a purely ideological/philosophical discussion. Eritrea is just an example of a dictatorship nobody seems to care about, to ground the discussion. But if it is actually that bad in the US, that even hypotheticals can get a citizen deported to a foreign concentration camp, I am very sorry to hear and I send you all my love and best wishes.
