Ah, it’s that green nuclear all the armchair physicists love to tell me about.
Sorry, they say “low carbon” and avoid the word green. For obvious reasons.
No, its the same ol haphazard disposal of hazardous materials cheap capitalists default to, or just plain ignorance to danger.
Literally EVERY industry you dont bind by law will dump their poisons into whatever hole or large body of water they can get to, then pass the consequences and cost to the rest of the world.
Now that the reasonable part is out of the way.... Shut the fuck up you quip slinging idiot, at least be correct before being snarky. "Armchair physicists".... MF read a book.
Good thing industry is really bad at regulatory capture /s
Whether you think nuclear is good or not, industry is as good at wriggling out of straight jackets as a magician. I get that nuclear has benefits and risks, but if we're playing Russian roulette, even with an infinitely large chamber, I'd still like there to be as few bullets in there as possible. Especially after seeing the gun go off a few times, some people would just rather not play at all, even the ones that do the equivalent of smoking a pack a day of Coal-metaphor branded cigarettes. I can understand that even if I might not agree.
How about this book?
