Maybe if the Democrats were demonstrably different from the Republicans, our memories would improve.

I mean Biden passed so much legislation while having a razor-thin majority senate, it was actually crazy how much he got them to agree to. Some if these builds had every single democrat vote, and 10% of Republican votes.

It's also crazy how bad the bills are now that they can't get the majority Republican senate to pass most of the ones proposed, and democrats are vastly voting no. Some """""democrats""""" being like Fetterman doesn't mean the Republicans aren't being literally evil demons while democrats are generally trying to make things better.

Biden's failure to prosecute Trump is a Republican position. His AG was a Republican who followed a Republican agenda. Biden's failure to even address the SCOTUS stacking issue is a Republican position. Biden's foreign policy deference to Israel's interests is a Republican position, and DNC proxies from Schumer to AOC attacking progressive demands to stop arming an ongoing genocide as anti-Semitic and anti-American is Republican as fuck. Biden's pardoning of his dip shit, openly corrupt son is so Trump-coded that I do not blame normal Americans for being fed up with both parties.

I will continue to vote 3rd party until the DNC is reformed.

I mean some of that stuff yeah, a lot of it would require violating norms though which democrats are terrified of, while Republicans just do whatever they want even if it's clearly not what was intended, like delaying a supreme court pick until a republican is elected. Trump was being prosecuted but Americans elected him as president so all of them were dropped immediately :/ I think the Biden pardon was in preparation for Trump going after hunter with the full weight of the DOJ, but even then I don't really approve of it.

I agree it is disappointing that democrats are so timid in that regard, but to me it's like someone kicks a dog, and the other person says "hey don't kick that dog wtf" but doesn't stop them. These people aren't the same and aren't equally evil, and one will keep kicking the dog any time they're elected, and the other tries to help the dog 8/10 times and kicks it 2/10 times. Just going off bills passed you can see the positions on immigration, big business, corruption, lgbtq+, everything besides Israel. One side has actual literal demons and one has people who do some things wrong.

Garland dragged his feet on Jan 6 charges, prompting Republicans who had previously voiced support for prosecuting him to regroup and change tactics, allowing the process to drag out until the election. Why did Biden appoint a GOP AG that was never going to be aggressive? It could be classified as a mistake, but it was completely foreseeable.

As for Biden's immigration push, the bill Trump killed by telling the GOP not to support it in order to deny Biden a "win" was awful. It was everything the Republicans wanted, and Dems didn't even include DACA protections, sacrificing immigrants once again to try to "own" the other party by demonstrating they are not interested in passing laws, something that everyone who is paying attention already understands. Biden also gave away a bunch of basic things in his environmental decisions. I mean, why allow drilling in ANWR? Who was that for? Even the things people are pointing to as a reason to have supported Biden are filled with poison.

You see a larger distinction between the parties than I do. I see republicans boiling puppies alive while Democrats stab them. Yeah, there is a difference, but not a demonstrable one.
