A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Just reminding everyone that the actual average is $1500 for an ER visit. $3500 if you stay the night.

Guess all of socialized medicine isn’t worth it because you know the REAL average ER bill in the US is only a large sum of money and not a stupefyingly large sum, when every other civilized country has no bill at all. Tag on another $1500+ for an ambulance ride, and add that the $3500 only accounts for the room, not any treatment.
...and the anesthesiologist will bill you separately.
You forgot the part where the anesthesiologist is out of network, but you were not told this nor were you offered any other options before your treatment, and now your bill has doubled.
Bold of you to assume there's insurance involved at all...
The in/out-of-network / copay / waiver / out-of-pocket limit debacle is a whole different bass-ackwards fuster-cluck...
