It's too bad that a lot of the games that kids of the 80s/90s played were platformers, or "action games", or other games where your coordination and reaction speeds matter. When you get to be 70/80, your reaction speed will be crap, so those kinds of games won't be as fun (unless you can play on an emulator that lets you slow things down).

But, turn based games like Final Fantasy will still work. The selection of those games on older consoles was mediocre. But, if you include newer Steam games, there are decades of good turn based games you could play in an old folks home.

I wonder what happens when the first generation that played games online starts hitting old folks homes. Will there be a seniors home with a minecraft (Java Edition) server? Will there be a wow classic server for the residents? That could actually be fun.
