I think this is a reference to the movie 300, where there is a line “this is Sparta”, but I never saw the movie and also it doesn’t make sense.
Yes, but the equivalent to that would be "this is the US", right? This sounds like Trump is fighting on the side of Iran.

Maybe in bizarro opposite world, the Persians are not the Persians. We are the Persians and the Persians are the Spartans. Therefore they say “this is Iran” and then also lose to us (us being the Persians) and in this twisted remake it now follows the plot line 🤷
