I also enjoyed the Warcraft movie. it was a perfect introduction to the franchise. I remember at the time of release people were miffed because it wasn't WORLD of Warcraft. But still the locales and characters still looked fairly spot on if you only played WoW and not the previous games.
As for Halo. man that show was such a bait and switch. The opening to the first episode with the Spartans and the Master Chief was great annnnnnnd that's about it.
