because people are need someone to blame. they can't blame themselves.

hence why you have 30+ year old children who blame 'society' for their failings, or their parents, or a ANYONE but themselves.

and if you suggest hey... maybe you can learn and work and fix these things... they don't say 'oh yeah i will do that'.

they go 'fuck you YOU HAVE NO EMAPTHY AND ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON'.

because... their entire identity and meaning in life is being a irresponsible piece of shit person who blames everyone else.

On one hand I understand showing empathy and highlighting that people might be going through mental issues, abuse. However laziness and lack personal responsibility should always be considered as possible factors as well.
