Definitely annoying to not have standardized moderation on the Fediverse, but not much we can do about it unless we all hope to one framework and ditch the rest.
Which won't happen since the core part of being in the Fediverse is to have lots of different types of infrastructures share the same protocol to allow interaction. Now, the question is, can moderation or parts of it be part of the ActivityHub protocol and that way be similar and shared? (maybe some is, I don't know the details)
It doesn't bother me.
Looking at the alternatives - I'd rather take a powertrip modder who bans because of their loose rules vs whatever the fuck the Reddit admin Automods that straight up bans/remove popular content across the entire site because it may piss off their financial overlords.
Yeah no arguments here, Reddit went to shit many years ago.
