Jesus was pro-choice, though, there is a verse in the bible giving instructions on abortion (via beatings).

It makes me happy hearing about them suffering.

Maybe next month we should all play some minecraft together?

It could have been booted up for the first time in 10 years at any point in the previous 10 years.

So your example is that the DNC "haven't done anything". The fact that they have had 48 or less senators for over 13 years aside for a moment:

Except for this helpful list linked here

And when they attempted to ban stock trading in congress LINK

And returning functioning order to the EPA LINK

Fun Fact, Biden actually protected more forests in the USA than any past president, restoring and even expanding the countless national parks that Trump stripped protections from.

The staffer, who is no longer at the DNC, made a payment to the fraudster.

You'd think that they would have more oversight from leadership positions for handling funds, like this.

The DNC official said the committee caught the error within minutes and reported it to its financial institution — Wells Fargo, according to federal records — but could only recover $7,000 of the lost money.

TBH I don't trust national banks for anything.

You can post beans anywhere on the fediverse, but it's problematic to support Russia's war on Ukraine.

I guess they'll have to see what Grok and TikTok tells them to do, first.

Got an example?

EDIT: We have at least one user claiming that EAC and BattlEye can NOT see what programs are running on your computer via proton on Linux.

EDIT 2: According to brucethemoose@lemmy.world with comment https://lemmy.world/comment/24738141

"Yes and no.

If you run task manager or something in Proton? It just shows Proton processes:

But all linux process, and tons of information about them, are readable in the /proc directory. They’re just files, accessible to the program.

Try ls /proc yourself.

There’s nothing stopping anti cheat from checking that, if it’s configured to do it.

Which is pretty dang convincing to me.

If I have a good understanding, the Symlinks that Proton uses allow the games to view nearly your entire drive and see what software is running? Because Proton is explicitly NOT a virtual machine and merely a translation layer for Windows applications to run on Linux?

The reason I like to ask is because this is the general consensus, that Proton applications are not secure, but when searching online it doesn't explicitly state anywhere if the games with EAC or BattlEye are capable of spying on Linux users. So I'm looking for confirmation on this.

Sometimes this segment is longer than the post and comments itself and when I'm not near an LTE or 5G cell tower it can cause pages to take longer to load on web. I have never used this feature even once.

When I tried using element picker with Ublock Origin it doesn't only apply the filter to this element.

A few months ago, in my free time, I started a small fantasy card game project in 3D and implemented raytracing to drag the cards around a plane above the "table" as a figure of speech, but I never did figure out the nodes which would have cards in play snap to and become undraggable. Whenever I set the boolean to disable dragging and enable snapping the card's variables passed to the node stayed null.

If somebody can help me figure it out, experience with git is a plus but not required (I can set up the repo and the gitignore myself), I'd be able to spend more time on the artwork and maybe we could start a kickstarter in a week or two.

Sample of my older artwork (from a different project outside of game development that is perpetually delayed for both team and financial difficulties):

If you lack any prior credit for such work then I won't immediately disqualify you but be prepared to demonstrate capability such as with a script that moves an instantiated 3D objects between 5 nodes in randomized order, interruptible by clicking on it (this demonstrates an active and inactive state and more complex movement than just static A to B)

I saw a clip of a guy saying that Ukraine is going through a command reform:

  1. Military officials will be forced to adapt or leave.

  2. Military command will be highly "streamlined" and "automated" with "new technology."

The video was claiming this as a huge win and that Russia would be outdated by comparison and that military personnel, infrantry and such, would be treated more humanely.

However, what it sounds like to me, what I'm hearing instead of those claims, is that all military power and authority is being centralized and that ChatGPT or Grok or some shit is being given reigns of a fucking drone swarm. Is that what is happening? Two things I can say quite confidently is that: consolidating such power such that less total people have any say in matters has never lead to more humane treatment, historically, and that AI chatbots have never shown any capacity for morality nor hesitation in regards to the sanctity of human life and nature.

Is the Trump admin pushing this bullshit on Ukraine? Am I reading too much into this? I'm naturally very skeptical of things like this.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure the video I saw was just some AI Techbro bullshitting and in reference to changes from Brigades (smaller departments) to Corps (big offices managing their own small departments) structure. Nobody can really find info on what he was talking about, AFAIK.

EDIT: Correction, I was banned from Lemmy Zip, the confusion stems from my inability to see Lemmy Zip communities in the search anymore leading me to think it was Lemmy ML which has a community of the same name.

Having lived the rise in Black political power across the South enabled by the VRA, Robinson worries he is now a witness to its dramatic demise after the Supreme Court sharply limited the last vestige of the landmark law often called the crown jewel of the civil rights movement.
