Anyone got a favourite or one they want to campaign for, try to pull in some extra votes?
Fernbird or Bittern for me
I'm an undecided voter, gonna try to sell them to me? What do you like about those two in particular?
both very unassuming, and seldom seen.
You might see fernbirds, but will more often just hear a double tick-tick-tick-chirp
Australasian bittern, good luck see one of them. If you are very lucky you might just hear one 'booming' with a himpf-himpf call
Well if seldom seen is the criteria, why not Fairy tern? only 40 left, and they are sea birds, so not many chances to see one!
