MODERATORS
One of our biggest, and honestly most important, exports is entertainment. Movies. Books. Television.
Lots of those about WW2. Lots of different stories to tell there and make ourselves the hero.
Especially when most of the time spent between 1945 and 1994 was spent with the USA having a dick measuring contest against the USSR. And we've very much proven ourselves to be the biggest dicks.
Could you really blame Putin for his role in this information war, given this context?
Not saying he's right. Just saying he's justified. Tit for tat.
We didn't invent the printing press for sending greeting cards. We didn't even invent the printing press...but we sure make people think we did.
The biggest export is propaganda.
