Top: Me explaining the feature to other engineers
Bottom: Product management explaining their feature idea to engineering
Bottom seems like a typical user request, made by at least 3 different departments of the customer not really agreeing on how things work day to day on their site.
Plot twist: this ”super urgent” request was actually never needed (as shown by usage metrics).
Too relatable, I checked the NGINX logs of a commerical service some time ago and a decent chunk was just Uptime Kuma
