Even better. Put the LG on a untrusted vlan that only whitelists public IP access.
That still leaves you with an active wiretap on all of your conversations.
Its never gonna phone home. If I was really worried about it I would take the TV apart and locate the mic. Put a switch between it or just cut it.
It will try to find any unsecured WiFi
Then I'll give it one. One that is null routed.
Truth is I'm not going to have a 'smart tv'
I'm just gonna pay more.
