Unless you’re counting the EU as a country I don’t see it.
The traditional take on this might be Russia. But seeing as they can’t even win a war with Ukraine, I’m just not seeing it.
You'd think it'd be India. It's actually fascinating how a nation of their size and population does such a good job of maintaining their own irrelevancy.
India is quite poor. Whereas the U.S. has historically thrown money and expensive stuff around to get its way.
Starting with negative money, no assets, massive non native disease outbreaks, and a population boom. It's not really that fascinating compared to other colonies it's just what happens, North America got lucky by being separate and far away.
There is something to be said for being difficult to enBritish.
