Late Stage Capitalism
A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, anti-communism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.
4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.
5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.
6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

Dude, the digital price tags in stores. You can't fucking read anything besides the price. The BOGO tiny text, the price per unit, ugh, it's so bad. Some of them even try to cram the "scan the digital coupon QR code".
I'll be homeless from expensive groceries before I spend the time to install the stupid app and try to scan a QR code while holding a freezer door open to save $0.50 on green peas. Fuck these fucking companies man.
I'm old enough to remember when tech was making things faster or more convenient. We have fully evolved into the tech dystopia of using our data collection device in the dumbest way to upload even more data.
Scanning those digital coupons makes me so close to snapping. I stopped. I'll pay the oligarchs the tax for my sanity. I don't want to snap at the grocery store employee that doesn't deserve it. I've been on the edge a couple times.
