Liberated from the evil empire, but I couldn't find a great summary page including this exact piece. Frustrating!

Anybody have a good reference page for this one?

Hey I saw this tomb ! Very impressive and complete different from the ones around. It was the tomb of someone serving under Akhenaten hence the style. The tomb is actually unfinished and unpainted as the owner reverted to the traditional gods after the death of Akhenaten and built another tomb elsewhere.

Aha, the heretic one-god Pharaoh! I missed you saying that at first.

I kind of admire his massive balls for trying to convert the kingdom to a different theism, but OTOH the 'one-god' thing has played out pretty disastrously in later times IMO, so... yeah.

Ah, who the heck knows...?

Just a community for everyone to share artifacts, reconstructions, or replicas for the historically-inclined to admire!

Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.
