Well, with the way he stands, the slightest move forward could be interpreted as a lunge…
I'd more likely assume he was falling over. I'd say that's irresponsibly generous, though. A mild cough could be interpreted as impending death.

Definitely immature backlash. But more of a slight and slow lean forward, lunging implies a lot more. But hey, words today seem capable of transforming into any feeling, whenever needed so...who knows.
I assume they mean as in a verbal lunge, but as much as I hate clickbait shit, this doesn't bother me even if it was meant as clickbait just because the actual situation is so bad that I don't think putting it that way really oversells the sheer unacceptableness and misogyny.
But I"m normally on your side on these things, so I mean, you still got my upvote…
I guess, maybe, but I won't give reporters in a business the benefit of the doubt. They can use their words to say what they mean rather than leaving so much space for vague interpreting, and they choose not to despite it being their literal job.
