The outside screen is fantastic it's just like your normal cell phone. So you lose nothing. But the advantage is when you want to watch videos or look at photos anything that you might marginally want to see a little bit more of you can just fold open the phone, it's fantastic.

For example: If you're trying to take a group photo and you want to know if everyone's in the frame it's infinitely easier when your phone screen is twice as large as a normal slab.

I frequently show photos to friends and family, browse the web, watch YouTube and it's like having a tablet in my pocket.

If you ever sign digital documents it's so much nicer to be able to actually read the thing on a larger screen to understand what you're signing up for there's so many use cases we're having a larger screen improves user experience significantly, at least for me.

The only apps that don't work well with foldable phones are typically banking apps because they have an optimized them for a wider screen format but to be honest if I'm looking at that type of data I don't typically need or want a large format view. Otherwise it's an advantage I'm pretty much every scenario. If you're trying to navigate using Google maps you can just fold open your phone to figure out the route and get your grips easier because you can see more.

I can go on, I was skeptical when I bought it, I really thought it was going to be a gimmick to be honest and I was pleasantly surprised.

As far as durability goes, it depends on how you use phones. I've never broken a phone screen myself so I haven't had a single problem with foldable phones either.
