Presumably they wouldn't want to build the data centers in the national park depicted in the photo, but rather in the larger desert part of Argentinian Patagonia which is basically vast stretches of nothing whatsoever.

It's maybe the least offensive place to put a data center in for that reason

Another least offensive spot is the Dakotas. Plentiful power and free cooling.
