I'm asking about the genre and musicians of all origin are of course welcome!

I just now discovered Forndom through their album Dauðra Dura. Link in the title/post above.

Wardruna and Heilung, while amazing performance wise and musically, is a bit too dark and demonic for me. I do like Skáld's Huldufólk though.

Are you sure you know what folk music is? Here's a handy reference: it's not black metal made by Nazis.
