Would it be immoral to engage with the bots in order to get them to use up their tokens? Could you get them to waste each other's time talking to each other?

Would wasting their time discourage the technology or would they point at an engagement metric in order to steal more money from your pension fund?

Even if you did stall it would that be worth the direct environmental cost or is that locked in anyway?
