Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.
-
Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

i can only speak about the irish side of things, but idk, in the same vein of "nazi punks fuck off", i'm delighted to see people using irish & celtic designs etc when doing explicitly anti-fascist stuff.
i want the fascists trying to take those symbols from us to know that their views are shit & fascism isn't welcome in any non-fascist community
from the nordic side, i would love to agree but it's all contextual. the filigree and general style is usually fine but the space is fully coopted by nazis, metalheads, and nazi metalheads. they wear that shit publically.
like, there was an mp for the sweden democrats (the party started as a swedish offshoot of the BNP) who got media attention last year for having a futhark-runic tattoo on his neck. he claimed he just thought it looked cool and didn't know what it said but it was quite obvious that it spelled out "ADOLF".
all to say that one symbol is probably okay, but putting them together is always going to look suspicious. like that gog newsletter where they put a bunch of symbols for old slavic religions next to eachother, which all have in common that they're used by east-european nazis.
