how do I know whether my kitten keeps its long fur? (lemmy.nz)

So I have this wonderful 4-month-old kitten that has very fluffy fur. And I have read that some cats lose their fur from the younger days and it might change so I wanna know if there is a way to know whether my kitten will keep its long fluffy fur?

The only way to know for certain is by documenting thoroughly, by which I mean to say we want you to post regular pictures of the cat.
