The article says Trump is backing a united Ireland. Is that just catering to Irish-USAmerican voters? Because I don't immediately see how it would benefit technofascists.
It'll be a bit of that and a bit of wanting to punish Britain for not joining the war on Iran, same reason why he's backing Argentina's claim on the Falklands. At a stretch, if there was a benefit to a United Ireland for technofascists, it would be having Irish tax laws applying to the cheaper labour market in Northern Ireland.
What's weird is that British unionist politicians in Northern Ireland really like Trump, while Irish nationalists despise him. I want a united Ireland and we certainly do not want Trump's "help" on this, as funny as it is to see his backers in the main unionist party crashing out over him endorsing the very thing they're set up to oppose.
