That's what forums used to be
Forums were cool until everyone else joined the internet.
Remember remember that eternal September. Then web 2.0. Then facebook allows the parents in.
Now the enshitification goes full stream ahead.
I thought IRC and Geocities was a good time, even if I happened across dolphinlove.org.
IRC is still a good time.
When i discovered it in 2006, i realized what it meant for a technology to mature so much as to almost be perfect at what it does.
